Food Critics in the Making!

Today in Computer Science, the campers got the chance to taste and critique three different creations by Amanda Wingfield, the "Snack Attack" teacher. There is definitely nothing like the palate and outspokenness of a child or teen!

Take a look at what the campers had to say:

Today in computer science we get a snack and drink that was okay. Drink: grape juice with black cherry flavoring. Food: there was a yogurt with chocolate chips, granola, bananas, and blueberries -- it is very good. Yesterday we got juicy juice and seltzer water mixture that was okay.

Today in computer science we got to be food critics for snacks
made by Amanda Wingfield. We tried a soda substitute and a parfait.
Here are my results:

Snack-ingredients-how it tasted

Soda substitute 1 - Juicy Juice and seltzer water - this drink was sour with
a little flavor from to much seltzer water.

Soda substitute 2- seltzer water and black cherry concord grape juice - the
substitute was a little sour but tasted wonderful.

Parfait - vanilla Greek yogurt, blueberries, bananas, chocolate chips, and
granola - the parfait was a variance of flavors like fruity, sweet, and
mild.

All of these snacks were great combinations of ingredients with
plentiful flavors.
